Contract Sales Professional

Moon Highway is seeking a results-driven Contract Sales professional to join our team, specializing in the promotion and sales of our diverse range of training classes. This role requires a proactive individual with a knack for identifying and seizing sales opportunities, establishing strong relationships with potential clients, maintaining and supporting current clients and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the training and education industry within the software development industry. This is a part-time, commission-based role which could quickly turn into a full-time position based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development
    • Identify and target potential clients and markets for training class sales.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract and retain clients.
    • Conduct outreach through calls, emails, and meetings to generate new leads and sales.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with learning and development teams.
    • Understand client needs and suggest appropriate training solutions.
    • Provide excellent customer service and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies for the training classes.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking events to promote training offerings.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis
    • Monitor and report on sales performance against targets.
    • Provide insights and feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Contract Negotiation and Closure
    • Skillfully negotiate contracts and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and company policies during the sales process.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in sales in the training or education sector.
  • Experience with software/web development industry.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
